The PELICAN 1660 Protector Case is designed rugged to travel the harshest environments on earth, giving sensitive equipment reliable protection. Made in the USA, it integrates an automatic Pressure Equalization Valve (purge valve) to balance air pressure, a watertight O-ring lid seal, over-molded rubber handles, stainless steel hardware, and padlock protectors. Its open cell core with solid wall design provides strength and light weight, while easy open Double Throw latches secure the lid. Mobility is enhanced by 4 strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings, large fold-down handles for two-person carry, and a retractable extension handle.
