The Pelican 1430 is a top-loading protector case designed rugged to travel the harshest environments. Made in the USA, it features an automatic purge valve that equalizes air pressure, a watertight silicone O-ring lid, easy open Double Throw Latches, a fold-down over-molded rubber handle, and stainless steel hardware with padlock protectors/steel reinforced lock hasp protector. The flip lid gives easy access to gear with top inside and bottom inside compartments for organized stowage. It floats in salt water with a 59 lbs (27.1 kg) load and has a temperature rating of -10° F (-23° C) to +210° F (+99° C).
