SureFire EP7 Sonic Defenders Ultra filtered earplugs protect hearing without blocking routine sounds or conversations. The foam-tipped stem design with soft memory-foam Comply Canal Tips fits most people and provides a Noise Reduction Rating of 28 dB. A proprietary noise-reducing filter allows safe sounds to pass while reducing potentially harmful levels above 85 dB. Attached filter caps can be inserted for additional protection or removed when hearing ambient sounds is important. The right/left color-coded earpieces are made from a soft but durable, hypoallergenic polymer and feature patented EarLock retention rings for a secure, consistent fit. Their low-profile design lets you keep them in place while wearing a helmet or mask, or when using a phone, headset, or supplemental hearing muffs. Comfortable EP7 Sonic Defenders Ultra also serve as earpieces for compatible radio communication systems by removing the noise-reducing filter and attaching the earpiece to the system. Extended product life is possible (up to 6+ months, depending on usage and care). NOTE: EP7 earpiece will not provide hearing protection if the noise-reducing filter is removed.
