The Rip-Away medic pouch is designed as an improvement on the EMT pouch, with the exterior back covered in Velcro allowing the pouch to be ripped away from its MOLLE backing. This lets the wearer remove the pouch to hand or toss to an injured battle buddy or reposition it for easier access during treatment. It includes MOLLE attachments on a hard hook-and-loop detachable mounting system, a self-repairing rust-proof zipper, plenty of internal elastic hold-down straps, and a metal drain grommet.
