The Safariland 6280 SLS mid-ride duty holster features the Self Locking System (SLS) rotating hood which must be simultaneously pushed down and rotated forward to release, allowing a smoother single-motion draw while protecting against attempted takeaways. Constructed of SafariLaminate, the holster is durable and easy to clean and includes a tensioning device, suede lining and a molded sight track for firearm protection. The Universal Belt Loop (UBL) mounts to 2 in. (50mm) or 2.25 in. (58mm) duty belts. With Level II retention out of the box, the 6280 can be adjusted and, with the addition of an optional Sentry device, configured for Level III retention.
