The SAFARILAND 7005 SLS thigh rig tactical holster is built around the Self Locking System (SLS) rotating hood to provide a smoother single-motion draw while improving protection against attempted weapon takeaways. The Hood Guard is included to protect the hood; the rig also includes a double leg strap, leg shroud and a vertical leg strap with a quick-release detachable leg harness for secure and adjustable thigh mounting. Constructed of SafariSeven nylon construction, a unique nylon blend from DuPont, the holster is highly durable and resistant to the elements. The matte finish is designed to decrease reflection and can be maintained with a simple scouring pad. The SafariSeven material offers very high heat and low cold tolerances (structurally sound from 300F to -50F) and can be submerged in water indefinitely while maintaining shape and function.
