The Safariland Model 6280 is the base model in the Self Locking System (SLS) series, built as a mid-ride duty holster with a unique rotating hood that must be pushed down and rotated forward to release, providing superior security during single-motion draws. Constructed of durable SafariLaminate STX, the holster is easy to clean and features a suede lining and molded sight track to protect the firearm. It includes a tensioning device which, when firmly adjusted, offers increased retention and can achieve Level III retention with the addition of an optional Sentry device. The Universal Belt Loop (UBL) allows mounting on either 2 (50mm) or 2.25 (58mm) belt widths, making it suitable for standard duty belt setups.
