The SAFARILAND Model 6004 incorporates the SLS (Self Locking System) rotating hood that allows a smooth single-motion draw while providing enhanced protection against attempted weapon takeaways. The hood is released by being simultaneously pushed down and rotated forward and becomes more secure when upward force is applied, making it less likely to release accidentally compared to conventional thumb-break snaps. Thermal-molded SafariLaminate construction and a suede-lined SafariSuede interior protect the handgun and its sights, while a molded sight track safeguards sight systems. The holster features a standard double leg strap and leg shroud with mounting holes for optional accessories, and a rugged STX finish to protect against scrapes, scratches and dents.
