The Safariland 6280 SLS Mid-ride model is a top draw, straight cant duty holster featuring the SLS (Self Locking System) rotating hood for increased weapon retention and quick, secure re-holstering. The hood is released by being simultaneously pushed down and rotated forward, enabling a smoother, single-motion draw and greater protection against attempted takeaways. With Level II Retention, the 6280 can be adjusted to a Level III Retention with the addition of an optional Sentry device. Constructed of SafariLaminate, it is durable and easy to clean, and it includes a tensioning device, suede lining, and a molded sight track for protection of the firearm. The Universal Belt Loop (UBL) is offered in both 2 inch (50mm) and 2.25 inch (58mm) widths.
