Spyderco Native Chief Lightweight Folding Knife
Customize
The Spyderco Native Chief Lightweight is an extended version of the timeless Native, offering a full-sized, slim profile with reduced weight through a linerless fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle. The injection-molded FRN scales include high-traction Bi-Directional Texturing and trim the knife's weight by approximately 21% compared to G-10 versions. It retains a precision-machined back lock mechanism and uses threaded inserts to allow fully configurable mounting of the four-position pocket clip for ambidextrous tip-up carry. The blade is full-flat-ground and features Spyderco's Trademark Round Hole for fast ambidextrous one-handed deployment. The model family is offered in multiple blade steels (including CTS BD1N and CPM SPY27), with options for PlainEdge, CombinationEdge or SpyderEdge and coatings such as Diamond-Like Carbon on select expressions. Its balance of light weight, ergonomic grip, ambidextrous controls and high-performance blade geometry makes it suited to everyday carry, camping, bushcraft, tactical and utility cutting tasks.
