The Shield Performance Soft Shell Jacket from ELBECO combines windproof and waterproof performance with superior breathability and comfort. Built from a 2-way stretch woven 96% polyester / 4% spandex exterior with a fleece interior and a Hydrotech windproof, waterproof, breathable membrane (7.6 oz/sq yd), it is designed to be worn as a stand-alone outer garment or as a mid-layer liner with Elbeco’s Shield Duty Jacket or HiVis shells for a 3-in-1 total jacket system. Functional features include two concealed-carry utility chest pockets with magnetic closures, Quick Release side zipper vents with stability tabs and adjustable snaps, and six functional pocket storage options. A two-way full length nylon zipper with abrasion resistant chin protector adds versatility, while a no-pill fleece-lined body and collar offer warmth. Tricot-lined sleeves allow easy removal, and sleeves feature articulated elbows and adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs. Additional details include low profile utility shoulder straps, large lower dual-entry pockets with fleece-lined hand warmer pockets with zipper closure and communications access openings, and fabric that accepts embroidery and silkscreening.
