These leg irons deliver a stronger, tamper-resistant design with all steel construction and spun rivets. A 15" chain effectively limits range of motion, while an improved internal lock mechanism provides smoother ratcheting action and greater durability. The color finish uses Electrolytic Polyurethane Plating (EPP), fully coating the restraints inside and out without interfering with the lock mechanism or jaw swing-through. The durable, rust resistant EPP finish is resistant to chipping and scratching and exceeds the National Institute of Justice's 12 hour salt spray testing standard. This series is made to meet or exceed National Institute of Justice standards for workmanship, mechanical strength, tamper resistance and corrosion resistance. Machined edges minimize the risk of tissue and nerve injuries. Two keys are supplied, and a lifetime warranty for manufacture defects is included. Made in USA.
