We engineered this compact, high-performance, super high flux LED headlamp to meet the stringent requirements of Class 1, Division 1 hazardous locations while maintaining exceptional light output and a long run time. The one watt super high flux Luxeon LED, with 50,000 hour lifetime, delivers up to 34 Lumens. The Streamlight 3AA HAZ-LOTM Headlamp provides up to 11 hours of runtime with declining output to 25-Percent intensity using three AA alkaline batteries that are included. It is intrisically safe for use in atmospheres containing hazardous gases, vapors and liquids. The push-button switch provides easy operation when wearing heavy gloves. It has an impact resistant housing that has been drop test verified from 30 feet. The unbreakable polycarbonate lens is O-ring sealed to make it water resistant. The package includes both adjustable cloth headstrap and rubber headstrap for hard hat wear..
