Developed with custom knife maker Wes Crawford, the COLD STEEL Crawford Model 1 delivers reliable performance in a tactical folding knife format. The blade, made from 4034 stainless steel, features a wide saber grind, a strong, sharp point, and a hollow ground, razor edge for efficient cutting and slashing. An integrated flipper in the tang enables lightning-fast opening. The handle mimics the original profile in a strong, economical Zy-Ex (glass-reinforced nylon) build with traction rubber inlays and a low-profile pocket clip. For safety, it uses a leaf spring locking mechanism and a patent pending secondary safety that is highly resistant to shock and impact. Lightweight and suited for pocket carry, it serves well as a pocket folding knife or folding hunting knife.
