The Safariland Model 6280 is the base model of the Self Locking System (SLS) series, featuring the unique rotating SLS hood that must be pushed down and rotated forward to release, providing greater protection against attempted takeaways and increased security under upward force. Built from SafariLaminate for durability and easy maintenance, the holster includes a tensioning device that can be firmly adjusted toward Level III retention, suede lining for a smooth draw, and a molded sight track for firearm protection. The Universal Belt Loop (UBL) mounts on 2" or 2.25" duty belts. The 6280 is designed to fit Springfield XD models and accommodates various sight and weapon light configurations listed in the product fit notes.
